Katelynn is a curator, writer, and artistic researcher. She is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts MA Curatorial Practice program (2022) where she gained training and experience with exhibition making and history as well as participation in discourse about the landscape of contemporary art. She has a BA in Global Affairs from George Mason University, which informed her understanding of global cultural, economic, and ecologic concerns. Previous institutional work experiences include Haus der Kunst (Munich) and the International Studio and Curatorial Program (Brooklyn). Her writing on contemporaneity and art has appeared in the ISCP Journal, Whitehot Magazine, the What Could/Should Curating Do program journal and Passe-Avant magazine. In 2022 she participated in the Kunstverein Munich’s Summer School: The Stories We Tell Ourselves. Her research interests include multi-vocality and inclusion, different forms of sound and language, techno-human relations, decolonisation, the built environment, historicisation, and site-specificity, among others. She is currently the Studio Manager for Studio Bosco Sodi.
