Katelynn is a curator, writer, and researcher in New York, NY. Recently she was the Curator-in-Residence at Kunstraum LLC (2024-2025) and the Studio Manager for Studio Bosco Sodi (2023-2024). She also participated in the Kunstverein Munich’s Summer School: The Stories We Tell Ourselves (2022). Previous institutional work experiences include Haus der Kunst (2022) and the International Studio and Curatorial Program (2020). She is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts MA Curatorial Practice (2022) program where she gained training and experience with exhibition making and history as well as participation in discourse about the landscape of contemporary art. She has a BA in Global Affairs (2010), which informed her understanding of post-9/11 international cultural trends, conflicts, and globalization. Her writing on contemporary art has appeared in Passe-Avant Magazine, Whitehot Magazine, the ISCP Journal, and the What Could/Should Curating Do program journal. Her research interests include material culture, sound, discursive-feminist-decolonial practices, visibility, the politics of space, postmodernism, and performance. Her work is situated in a global context and often examines the relationships between culture, technology, narrative, theory, and practice.
